97-Year-Old Mother Visits 76-Year-Old Daughter After A Year Apart

After spending a year apart, a 97-year-old mother visits her 76-year-old daughter in this sweet reunion.

This touching video was shared by the granddaughter of the 76-year-old.

"My 97-year-old great grandmother and 76-year-old grandmother reunited after one year apart,” she writes. “Both are bed ridden due to illness, but the family brought them together."

The video starts with an elderly woman walking up the steps and coming through the front door.

“Look who’s here Grandma!” says the granddaughter as she waits for her grandma to see the surprise that her family planned for her.

“Oh! Oh…mom?! Oh wow!”

The woman is stunned but so excited to see her mother walking into the room. The mother and daughter come together and kiss and embrace through tears.

“I love you,” says the 97-year-old. “I love you, too, mom,” replies her daughter.

The exchange is so touching and reminds us that there is no bond like the one between a mother and her daughter. It is truly a special relationship that grows stronger with time.

The pair are stroking each other’s face and hair, and they cannot let go of each other. After not seeing each other for a year, they want to keep holding on to one another for as long as they can.

One of the family members is holding up the 97-year-old because she is weak. But the mother and daughter keep hugging and cherishing one another during this sweet reunion. What a special moment!
