God didn't remove the Red Sea!
One might think that adversity has no place in a book about a loving God, who is full of mercy and grace. When you stop to think about it however, it is adversity that often acts as a catalyst to move mankind toward God. It is in adversity that God manifests most profoundly his unconditional love, compassion and forgiveness toward those who place their trust in Him. This truth is borne out time after time in the pages of Scripture.
