When Marleen Brooks opened her mailbox one evening, she found a letter that would change the entire course of her life. Marleen's 90-year-old neighbor, Wanda Mills, had written a heartbreaking note.

Wanda lived just a few doors down and pleaded with Marleen to be her friend. She wrote that all her friends had died and that she was very lonely and scared. All she wanted was a friend. As soon as she read the letter, Marleen's heart broke. So, the very next day she went over to Wanda's house and they became instant friends.

Wanda has now been moved to a nursing home but Marleen still visits her at least four times a week. This special friendship will truly make your heart warm. And Wanda knows that this special gift was sent straight from God at just the right time. What an amazing story of God's faithfulness. Who was tearing up after listening to this story?
