Christian artist Matthew West releases the powerful video for his latest single, ‘The God Who Stays.’ This incredible visual display tells the story of a family struggling with a loved one and her addiction.

Just like this family supports their loved one throughout her hardships, God is always there for us. He never gives up on us and will always be there waiting for us with open arms.

When speaking about the video, artist Matthew West said, “I’m a storyteller at heart and I love it when I get the chance to see a story come to life in the videos for my songs. There’s just such power in experiencing music with the eyes and not just the ears. My director, Patrick, had this concept to show abandonment from some different vantage points, but more importantly to show God’s faithfulness and His redemptive plan when we turn to him. The shots he captured of the little girl in this video are gut wrenching and really highlight what I think so many people have dealt with on some level.”
