'Holy Spirit' Voices Of Lee And Gordon Mote Performance

The talented ensemble of Voices Of Lee join together with country artist Gordon Mote for a soul-filled rendition of ‘Holy Spirit.’

Francesca Battistelli recorded this powerful worship song, written by married couple Bryan and Katie Torwalt. When speaking about the story behind the song, the duo said, “The song “Holy Spirit” is about us, turning our hearts, affection and awareness toward God’s presence.”

These words have touched so many hearts around the world and they continue to resonate today.

“Holy Spirit, You are welcome here
Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere
Your glory, God, is what our hearts long for
To be overcome by Your presence, Lord
Your presence, Lord”

Voices Of Lee are a vocal ensemble from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. They are most notable for their a cappella covers of popular Christian hymns and modern day worship songs.

Gordon Mote is a country Christian singer and pianist. He was born blind but he didn’t let that stop him from becoming an accomplished piano player. Gordon has played with famous names such as Alan Jackson and The Gaither Vocal Band.

Today, they are all lending their voices to ‘Holy Spirit.’

“There's nothing worth more
That could ever come close
No thing can compare
You're our living hope
Your presence, Lord”

This worship song truly reminds us all that there is hope and power in our God. We can find perfect peace and rest for our soul when we hand our burdens over to the Lord. Sing these words out loud and let the whole world know the wonders of our King.
