What a beautiful song performed in such a lovely setting! This live performance was filmed at the Homestead Hall in Columbia, Tennessee.

The song starts off with the wonderful sound of a violin, and then the angelic voices of the Annie Moses Band join in. The harmonies of the vocalists, along with the other instruments combined, make for such a full and amazing sound.

The Annie Moses Band is a family that has a rich musical history. Going back to the time of the Great Depression, Annie Moses, the band members’ great grandmother picked cotton for a wealthy landowner and saved up enough over time to pay for a few piano lessons for their grandmother, Jane.

Then Jane pinched pennies so that the band members’ mother, Robin, could learn piano, a pursuit that took her to Oklahoma City University. That is where she met the band members’ father, Bill, who was also a musician.

The parents of the Annie Moses Band worked hard in order to give their children the best musical education possible, which led them all the way to the Juilliard School. And in 2002, the family created the Annie Moses Band, “an eclectic sound that reflected their family’s unique blend of roots music and classical polish.”

What an amazing legacy this band has. And what a wonderful way to honor the Lord and their family through their musical talents!
