8-Year-Old Girl Sings 'Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing' Classic Hymn

This 8-year-old girl sings ‘Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing,’ classic hymn, perfectly.

Clara Mae is a very young and very talented follower of God. She loves everything music and spreading positivity through song. God gifted the right little girl with the voice of an angel.

Even though Clara Mae is only 8 years old, she professionally records songs and music videos. She does this solo AND is a member of the Rise Up Children’s Choir.

The National Anthem? No problem. She’s been performing this in front of crowds since the age of 3. She was also featured as the phoenix in the music video for Andra Day’s song, ‘Rise Up.’

This little performer must’ve been singing after birth instead of crying!

Just like most kids, Clara Mae also involves herself in other activities including dancing, acting, and BMX racing. She will be in a local performance of Frozen as ‘young Elsa’ in the upcoming months. Her drive is inspiring!

The Rise Up Children’s Choir is an auditioned choir in Utah with groups for three levels of singing experience. The organization has over 260,000 Youtube subscribers. All that talent deserves an even bigger audience!

‘Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing’ is an old hymn written in 1758 by Pastor Robert Robinson. So don’t be surprised if you recognize it!

The video was filmed around Silver Lake surrounded by Utah’s beautiful mountains and scenery. I wish I could just step right into the video -- it’s THAT gorgeous. Just like the calming backdrop, the song intends to remind God’s children that He will always be there in difficult times.

Have not I commanded you? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be you dismayed: for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
