Sloth Petting A Puppy Is The Best Thing You'll See All Day

Did someone say they needed some wholesome content? Well, here’s a sloth petting a puppy, and it’s the best thing you’ll see all day.

Is there anything more wholesome than odd animal friendships? This sloth and his canine pal will warm your heart.

Over a year ago, Chuwie the sloth got electrocuted by a powerline in Venezuela. Luckily, his new family found him just in time and immediately took him to an emergency vet. Along with the life-saving medical attention, Chuwie’s strength saved his life that day.

Since he lost two of his claws and had some special needs, he couldn’t safely return to the wild. His rescue family was more than happy to welcome him into their own home.

In his new home, Chuwie enjoys a bunch of special sloth toys and jungle gyms but also gets to play outside in the trees. And of course, he slowly snacks on all the plants and snacks that a little sloth could want!

Little did Chuwie know, he would soon become best friends with his new furry sibling.

Seven the Beagle naturally adored Chuwie. He probably thought, “What a weird-looking dog. I love him!” when he first saw the sloth. Now, Seven loves to lick his brother while Chuwie enjoys gently caressing the pup’s head with his claws.

At one point in the video, it’s almost like Chuwie looks up at his owner smiling because he’s so happy to be petting Seven. I don’t think this clip could get any more precious.

Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; hold to that which is good. Be kindly affectionate one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Romans 12:9-13
