'Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing' Easter Hymn From Allie Gardner

'Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing' Easter Hymn From Allie Gardner

Remember the many blessings we are given as Allie Gardner sings the Easter hymn, ‘Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing.’

The hymn was written in 1757 by the 18th-century pastor Robert Robinson. He was just 22 years old, at the time. The powerful lyrics, which dwell on the theme of divine grace, are based on 1 Samuel 7:12.

“Come, Thou Fount of every blessing,
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing,
Call for songs of loudest praise.”

Allie is seasoned singer and performer.

You may recognize her from the a cappella singing ensemble of Noteworthy. This popular group produced viral hit covers such as ‘I Can Only Imagine’ and ‘How Great Thou Art.’

As a solo artist, Allie also became an Internet sensation when her video 'I Am a Child of God: Maya, Spanish, English' went viral. Now, she’s continuing to use her God-given talent to spread His message of love and grace.

Today, she is belting out the words of a beloved hymn as she sings ‘Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing.’

“Teach me some melodious sonnet,
Sung by flaming tongues above.
Praise the mount, I’m fixed upon it,
Mount of Thy redeeming love.”

As we walk through each day, be reminded that God has blessed us in so many ways. Let His love reign down and lead us on a path to righteousness.

James 1:17 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”
