The Forgiving Father
The parable usually called "The Prodigal Son" should be called "The Forgiving Father," because its design is to show the gigantic, Fatherly heart of our heavenly Father, God. As human beings, we all screw up, sometimes royally, but when we turn back to Him, His forgiveness abounds to us.
