I, I, I, I should have never, ever, ever made you cry, and girl since, since you've been gone

Before her audition, Louisa Johnson shares about how much this moment means to her.

“I’ve literally been working my whole life toward this moment,” she said. “I’ve been singing since I was 7, and I can’t even explain to anyone how much this means to me today.”

Louisa’s mother echoes what her daughter shared. “This is the day she’s been waiting for for 10 years. I’m just looking at and thinking ‘This is my baby.’ I’m there all the way with her.”

One of the judges kindly reminds Louisa to breathe before she starts her audition. “I can hear your nerves in your voice, sweetheart. You’ll be alright, honestly,” she remarks.
