Country Cover of 'How Great Thou Art' by Angie Sutherland

In this wonderful country cover, Angie Sutherland sings ‘How Great Thou Art’ on her front porch with her brother.

“O Lord, my God, when I in awesome wonder, consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, Thy power throughout the universe displayed
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee, how great Thou art, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee, how great Thou art, how great Thou art”

Angie’s father, who she would sing out on the porch with and they would make many videos together, recently passed away. On her YouTube page, Angie shared about how she felt about singing on her front porch again but this time with her brother.

“It felt so good to get back out on this porch singing again,” she writes.
“I am so thankful for my brother who is sitting here next to me in daddy’s chair, following in daddy’s footsteps. Spreading God’s word through song. As I sang this song tonight, I could picture our sweet daddy smiling down upon us.”

What a beautiful moment. And I’m sure Angie’s dad was looking down from Heaven and was so happy to see his son and daughter back in those rocking chairs, sharing such uplifting music together from the front porch.

“You're truly a blessing and know you have comfort knowing your daddy is in heaven,” writes someone on YouTube. “I was listening to many of your songs this morning before church and so much was sung about the Cross. It's all about the Cross and what Jesus did there for us! Thank you for making that literally the center of most everything you sing!”

“Young lady keep up the good music because that is what your dad would have wanted,” comments another person on the YouTube video. “So glad you and your brother are going to keep the tradition going! Love listening to you all singing and playing the gospel! May your dad rest in peace, he was a god-fearing man and lived to do right!”

God bless Angie and her brother for sharing their talents with others and glorifying God in the process!
