Father In Wheelchair Stands To Walk Daughter Down The Aisle - Inspirational Videos

It was a beautiful moment captured on camera when this wheelchair-bound father stood up to walk his daughter down the aisle. Every girl dreams of her wedding day, but for Heather Duquette it was a bittersweet moment.

Heather’s father, Ralph, was diagnosed with Leukemia and had to use a wheelchair after chemotherapy treatments. This meant that Ralph would be unable to walk his daughter down the aisle on her big day.

But when Heather’s wedding finally came around, Ralph had a big surprise up his sleeve. Only telling a select few people, Ralph decided that he was going to everything he could to stand with his daughter.

This touching clip shows the moment that Heather emerged in her wedding gown and spotted her father.

“When I saw him get up and come towards me I was overwhelmed. I started crying uncontrollably in front of everybody,” Heather told ABC News.

As guests looked on with tears, Ralph was the picture of a proud father as he walked arm and arm with his daughter.

“It was so amazing, she was so happy. It was something that every father dreams of.”
