'God Is On The Throne' Steven Curtis Chapman

Listen to Steven Curtis Chapman sing his encouraging song called ‘God Is On The Throne.'

"I hear everybody talking on the right and on the left, they're holding out their promises
While we all hold our breath, and if I did not know better, I would be scared to death,
But God is on the throne. I know that it all matters and there's so much at stake
And I know we all need wisdom for decisions we must make, but there's only one
Who's making promises that He won't break, and He is on the throne.”

Steven Curtis Chapman writes on his YouTube page what he was feeling when he wrote this song four years ago.

“4 years ago, as we approached a wild and stressful presidential election, I wrote a song to remind myself and anyone else who needed to be reminded that regardless of who won the election, ‘God Is On The Throne.’ Now, 4 years later, I find myself in need of this message again...maybe even more than ever,” he says. “So, with a little ‘updating,’ I offer this new version of a message that has been true since before time began…May we keep our hearts anchored to this HOPE in the days ahead...come what may...God Is On The Throne!”

What a beautiful song and a great reminder of what God’s word says in Daniel 2:20-21 and in Psalm 103:19.

"Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, to whom belong wisdom and might. He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding..." Daniel 2:20-21

"The Lord has established his throne in the heavens and his kingdom rules over all." Psalm 103:19

During hard times in life, a song like this brings perspective and hope.
