Bass Singer Sings A Cappella 'Blackbird' Cover

A talented bass singer does an amazing job singing an a cappella cover of ‘Blackbird’ by The Beatles.

“Blackbird singing in the dead of night, take these broken wings and learn to fly, all your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise, blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these sunken eyes and learn to see, all your life
You were only waiting for this moment to be free, blackbird fly, blackbird fly
Into the light of a dark black night”

The singer in the video is named Geoff Castellucci and he has his own music channel on YouTube.

“This version of Blackbird was produced/arranged/sung by yours truly, please be kind on the upper harmony parts, I do my very best,” he wrote as a caption to this video.

Geoff has incredible range and it is so impressive to hear him sing the really low notes as well as the notes that are quite high. And his harmonies throughout the song are just wonderful!

“You do not give yourself enough credit for your upper register. Your higher notes, in my honest opinion, sound just as fantastic as your lower,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video. “You've got a great vocal range, and it's obvious that you've taken a lot of time and effort to hone it. Be proud, my dude. Be proud.”

“One of my favorite Basses covering one of my favorite bands and in my opinion one of their best songs! What more could I ask for?!” writes another person on YouTube.

We hope you enjoyed this fabulous cover of ‘Blackbird’ from Geoff Castellucci today!

Romans 8:37-39
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
