Classic 'Hallelujah' Cover From Barbershop Chorus

Check out this great video of a classic ‘Hallelujah’ cover from a women’s barbershop chorus.

“Now, I've heard there was a secret chord, that David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you? It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift, the baffled king composing Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah”

According to what they wrote in the YouTube caption, the group is called The New Harvest Singers, and they are “a women's a cappella group from the Netherlands with a very diverse repertoire ranging from Barbershop to top 2000 songs in melodic or close harmony style.”

They performed this cover of ‘Hallelujah’ by Leonard Cohen at the Barbershop Harmony Society’s 2013 Midwinter Convention in Orlando, Florida.

The women did a beautiful job with this popular song, and their different voices filled the room with such lovely harmonies.

We hope you enjoyed this wonderful performance of ‘Hallelujah’ and it was able to bring a smile to your face today!

Psalm 95:1-7
1 Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! 2 Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! 3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. 4 In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. 5 The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. 6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! 7 For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.
