Hello and welcome everyone. Im Pastor Robert F Craig; most people however call me Pastor Bob. My life began in Mobile, Alabama, where my mother tells me, that I fell out on my head while she was en-route to visit my Cajun grandparents, in Lafayette, LA. My grandmother was French/Irish, and my grandfather was Cherokee Indian. That, along with my mothers family being Ethiopian, made my life very interesting, growing up in Grand Rapids Michigan. My first wife died, and I am presently married to a hot blooded Spaniard, Maria-Rosa, who was born in Madrid and raised in Belgium. We have seven, adult children, of which, six are girls, and the boy, Daniel, is a Sergeant, in the Marines.
When I was nine years old, while my mother was still pregnant with sibling number ten, my father and mother divorced. That forced me, being the oldest son, into a roll of protector and wage earner, to help my mother and ride herd on my sisters and brothers, while my mother worked. I stayed in high school until I was fourteen, and then dropped out because I needed to work, and help my mother. At sixteen, I sat for the GED and passed it. I then enrolled in a number of courses, which eventually resulted in a career with IBM, where I worked for eighteen years, and broke most of their sales records, and was promoted into upper management. In nineteen eighty-nine, I was disillusioned with IBM, and started my own Software development company. I was self-employed until God decided that He wanted me to get busy with His call on my life and sent an international company to take my company over, in the process God has blessed me richly. I love the Lord, and His people, all of His people. In 1993, God brought my wife and I to the great state of Utah, Salt Lake City, where He has given me a new mission, to proclaim His love, to the Mormon people, and the freeing of the captives, and to break the demonic yoke, which Satan has burdened these good people with for over a century.
During my career with IBM, I acknowledged Gods call into his ministry, and became ordained as an Elder, in full connection, with the Christian Methodist Church, where I Pastured, and built, several churches. I stopped pastoring in 1985, due to my disillusionment, with the direction the Methodist Episcopacy was heading. God caused me to stand up a new church plant here in Utah that is strictly Bible based and non-denominational. He has also put it on my heart to build the first Christian Mega Church in the state of Utah which will seat almost two thousand people. God also has called me to perfect my witness for Him, during these last days, and in an effort to be obedient, I have been enrolled in the Kings Seminary for the last three years in pursuit of my Doctor of Ministry degree. I ask for your prayers, that God will allow me to accomplish, with His help, His will, for my life, at this stage of my Spiritual evolution. Im looking forward to learning about many of you. If God has put missions on your heart as a calling, I invite you to come to the last great mission field in the good old United States, Utah, and help me win Souls into the Kingdom for our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
God Bless.
Yours In Christ
A Prayer When a Situation Seems Impossible - Your Daily Prayer - April 24
My wife has recently painted these words on a wall in our house as a reminder to us both: “Mightier than the waves of the sea, is His love for us!” (Inspired by Psalm 93:4). Please remember this. Mightier than the tempest you are facing is His love for you!
