Koen is a Dutch Christian songwriter. He is married to Linda, an American whom he had met while studying Theology - Cross-cultural Studies in the States. They have an adult daughter and son. Koen started songwriting when he was diagnosed with cancer the first time. The odds were not great that he would survive. Also Linda had faced death multiple times due to her health, but God determines the days.
Some of Koen's children songs have been published in the Netherlands.
Currently, he is focusing more on writing songs for grown-ups from his home in the Netherlands.
