A band of shepherds would not seem to be an intimidating sight, but Adam Smith in his classic book "Wealth of Nations," comments on how great civilizations, especially warlike civilizations, have arisen from shepherding economies. The prophet Micah anticipated the rise of "seven shepherds" to fight the onslaught of humanistic cultures in the days of Christ's dominion. Watch as Pastor MacLaren shows from Micah 5:5-15 how God would prepare these men for their conflicts.
