Congregational Hymn: "Hosanna to the Living Lord," First OPC Perkasie, PA 5/27/12
Join the congregation of First Presbyterian Church in Perkasie, PA as we sing one of the great anthems of the Christian faith celebrating the glory of Christ's Ascension and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. "Hosanna to the Living Lord" is found in the original Trinity Hymnal of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church (#314; www.opc.org) and was originally composed in 1811 by the English prelate Reginald Heber, who went on to be Bishop of Calcutta in India and composed other more famous hymns. The hymn is led by Ruling Elder Joseph Waggoner and accompanied by Mrs. Rebekah Waggoner on the piano. The Rev. R. Scott MacLaren is the pastor.
