Holier Than Thou?

Holier Than Thou?

Holier than thou! You are absolutely correct I’m not more holier than thou; What is important, is what will you be able to say to Jesus who is more holier than thou on your day of judgment. Using the term “Holier than thou” drops a negative barrier between people who are trying to communicate with one another on a religious Level. This term draws conflict an eats away at positive notion for later deciphering, understanding and revelation. I want to read to you Romans 3:23 and 3:24 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

The bottom line is Jesus is holier than all of us, so let’s get to the understanding of the true testimony of Jesus Christ. It’s terrible to see that there is a definition for “holier than thou” that is explained as it being a negative term. A definition of the word “Holier” is (of a person) Devoted to the service of God: "saints and holy men”. This term "holier than thou" is something that is overall negative in the way it was invented. A better definition for “holier than thou” might be “someone who has stopped sinning and has dedicated their life to God”. Seek Jesus in prayer.
