Over 110 rockets from Gaza fired into southern Israel. According to Haaretz, school was canceled for hundreds of thousands of students in Israel's south on Sunday, after over 110 rockets were fired at Israel from Gaza since Friday. Israeli air strikes against Gaza militants have left 16 dead. Israel's Iron Dome system intercepted 28 of the 31 rockets it targeted. The missile defense system is designed to only intercept rockets identified as heading toward populated areas.

Christians in Sudan face deadline to leave the north. According to ENI News, Sudanese Christians have barely a month to leave the Muslim-majority north or risk being treated as foreigners. Bishop Daniel Adwok says, "We are very concerned. Moving is not easy. People have children in school. They have homes. It is almost impossible." Iin February, Sudan announced the deadline for the former citizens it had stripped of nationality after South Sudan's vote to secede. The ultimatum will affect an estimated 500,000-700,000 people, who are mainly Christians of southern origin that still live in the north.
