Calypso carol
This is a bouncy and rather contemporary carol with words that extol the birth of Christ and it's deep significance of the purpose of His birth. Jesus is not portrayed as just an adorable baby but as the Son of God who came to die for our sin: 'Mine are riches from thy poverty, From thine innocence, eternity; Mine, forgiveness by thy death for me, Child of sorrow for my joy.' May the birth of Jesus hold special meaning to all of us. Lyrics found in:

A Prayer for Your Child to Be Bold for the Gospel - Your Daily Prayer - May 22
My prayer today is that we will not hinder children from knowing the Lord. Instead, let us pray that their boldness will arise. But let us also remember we cannot pray for our children to be bold in their faith if we aren’t bold enough to teach them!
