Making Our Joy Complete
Sermon from Sunday, April 19, 2009 - Second Sunday of Easter. In John's 1st letter he tells the church in Asia Minor that he is writing to them to "make his joy complete." He does this by setting them straight on some issues that believers were facing about the identity of Jesus Christ. This letter is a beuatiful presentation of who Jesus is, what Jesus taught, and what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ - both then and now. In this letter we too can find ways to make our joy complete.
