Why I Hate Religion (But Love Jesus) Spoken Word
This is a poem I performed at PLU's For the King Worship Night. The poem highlights the differences between Jesus and Religion. Jesus had the harshest things to say to the "religious leaders" of His day, but was gracious and merciful to the outcast and downtrodden. The hope of the poem is that someone might see where they are trusting in themselves and their own work, and look to Jesus as a more solid hope and all satisfying joy.

Today's Devotional
A Prayer to Help You Comfort Others - Your Daily Prayer - April 25
Have you ever wondered if there is any purpose in your suffering? We certainly don’t go looking for suffering—it comes to us because life is a journey through difficulties and triumphs. Sufferings are a reminder of what Jesus Christ went through and it is a way for us to encourage others.
