John Anthony was an atheist who thought that a college degree and a good paying job would bring happiness. He got his degree and a good paying job, but it did not bring him the happiness he hoped and expected it would. Neither did drugs nor anything else. John came to a place in life where he could really see no reason to keep living for, and so he came to the conclusion that suicide looked like a very likely option. In his darkened and anguished soul, he cried out to God to reveal Himself if God REALLY existed, and God DID! In the short time that followed, John found what he had been longing for all his life -- an intimate, personal relationship with the living God. What makes this testimony much different than most others is that John sings a number of songs as a way of expressing not only his thoughts and feelings about God, but expressing His gratitude to God as well for what God has done for him.
