Sermon: "Election and Boldness," Isaiah 41:1-10, Part 2
God's sovereign choice of his people confounds the world and assures the elect. Because God has chosen us for salvation, we can be assured that God is with us, and we can live with a holy boldness to advance his kingdom on the earth. We do not apologize for our existence, we are the children of God and heirs of the world. Therefore, we work to bring all of life under the lordship of Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords. This sermon was preached on independence day, July 4, 2010, at First Presbyterian Church in Perkasie, PA. To learn more about our church, go to www.firstchurchopc.org.
