I am a Servant is a song written by Larry Norman. It truly describes the role of a presbyter, or what we call a "priest." A presbyter is given faculties through the laying on of hands and the anointing of a bishop, who is a direct successor of the Apostles through the laying on of hands and anointing. Each Catholic Bishop can trace his consecration through these sacramental signs to the Apostles. A priest or presbyter cannot function without the authority of a bishop. What you will be watching is the actual ordination of Fr. Amaro Saumell.
