7 year old saves parents from a home invasion by hiding in bathroom and calling 911
A home invasion in California was thwarted by an unlikely hero - a 7-year-old boy.
The brave but frightened child hid with his sister, 6, as the thugs held their parents at gunpoint, according to the Norwalk sheriff's department.
"There's some guy who's going to kill my mom and dad," the boy told 911. "Bring cops. A lot of them! ... And soldiers, too."
He and his sister were locked in the bathroom, but were eventually discovered by the robbers.
"You could just hear the fear in them, crying and screaming for help," the female 911 dispatcher who talked to the boy told KTLA.
The crooks, identified as three Hispanic men, demanded to know who the boy was talking to.
"911," he told them.
The three thugs quickly ran without taking a thing, and fled in what police believe was a gray Acura.
"If not for the brave and educated actions of the 7-year-old boy, this might have ended tragically," said Capt. Pat Maxwell of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

A Prayer for Intentional Friendships and Connection at a New Church - Your Daily Prayer - May 25
When we finally decided to make the change and find a new church, we sat down to talk about the things we were looking for. My heart felt grief wash over again. Aside from wanting a Bible-believing, Bible-preaching church, at the top of my list was wanting a church that desired to truly know its people.
