Ready To Respond?
Most of the time, we don't know what is at stake – and probably never will. Which is why a readiness to respond is so important. No matter how inconsequential our everyday actions may be to us, they matter to someone, somewhere, somehow. It matters whether we smile, or buy this or that, or agree, or disagree, or call, or write, or help, or hope, or love, or forgive. Everything matters.
We respond – to others – to ourselves – and to God.
Are you ready to respond? If not, are you ready to be ready to respond?
We respond – to others – to ourselves – and to God.
Are you ready to respond? If not, are you ready to be ready to respond?

A Prayer for God to Be Your Shield and Portion Today - Your Daily Prayer - May 24
I love this passage in the Bible because it sums up the spiritual reality in all difficult circumstances. How many times do we see the enemy and opposing forces against us, just like Elisha’s servant? And that puts us in a panic - yet the angelic armies of the Living God are unseen but present nonetheless, and far greater. We just need to see that substantial truth!
