The History of Hell (Part 2)
100 Days of Preaching the Gospel #45 | with Daniel Whyte III
TEXT -- Mark 9:43-48: "And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched."
On yesterday, we began looking at the origin of Hell. Today, we will continue looking at the history of Hell. Yesterday, we saw it's origin. Today, we will see what kind of place Hell really is.
1. First of all, we will take a look at the first mention of Hell in the Bible.
2. Based on God's words and Jesus' words, we know that Hell is a place. We will examine what kind of place Hell is and the location of Hell.
3. We will take a look at what Jesus Christ did in Hell when He died on the cross.

A Prayer of Comfort for Families Missing Their Fallen Military Heroes - Your Daily Prayer - May 27
Because the general public views them as fallen heroes deserving of patriotic honor, many may mistakenly think that this somehow helps to soften the blow of the loss to their family members. But for many families, it can be extremely difficult to accept and process, especially because their passing is without warning, unexpected, and with no opportunity to say goodbye.
