I was raised in a Christian home, and learned to cling to the blood stained Majesty of the cross of Christ. I traveled in full time ministry with a group called The Hymntime Singers for two years. While in the group, I met my husband, my favorite singer and at that time one of the best groups in gospel music, The Goss Brothers.
We have been married thirty nine years. God has been faithful, and the longer we serve Him, the sweeter He grows!
I consider these things:
We may stand before Christ one day and discover, we had been satisfied to wear the faded garments of hand me down theology.
We nestled in prayer with it's comfort and not wrestled in prayer with it's great conflict! We prayed about much trivia and not known much about mighty travail! We prayed for strength to live when He wanted us to die. We knelt at the cross and asked for victory when He wanted us to get on the cross to become a victim-victor.
Therefore, I glory only in the cross of Hudson Taylor, missionary to China, penned these words. " No retreat, no regret, no reserve." Simply put, all strength is in Christ, all glory for Christ, all suffciency in Christ!
Thou art royal, endure

A Prayer for the Door That Was Closed - Your Daily Prayer - April 18
When we’re faced with a closed door, it might be beneficial for us to consider both Adam and Eve’s story, and maybe even cats, too, because God sometimes reveals truth to us through them.
