I'm shy at first but once I get to know you, I'm very chatty, tender-hearted and affectionate. I'm a loyal friend, creative, playful and supportive. I am a team builder and an encourager.
Occupation I am a pastor who used to be a chef. The journey to full-time ministry took me to every habitable continent except Africa (next year) in medical, educational, horticultural and human dignity ministry teams. My call in life is to serve God and humanity. I spent 20 years cooking in kitchens. My training was in Provencal (Southern France) and Northern Italian cooking, but over the years I have fused influences as varied as Carribean, North African, Indian, Thai, Latin American and Cajun/Creole.
The call to ministry came through serving the needs of humanity and it was a call that directly contradicted the profession I was formerly in. Now I serve three churches and rejoice that God brought me to this point. The challenges are new every day, some happy, some sad. Truly though serving God and others in ministry is the opportunity to see the best and the worst in humanity while providing a stable reference point to help all fix their sight upon the eternal kingdom of God.
