I was raised by a loving and nurturing family that had all of their priorities in order. God came first, then family, then friends, but you really were unable to distinquish the line between all of them. My mom had always told me, you should love as Christ loved, and my Dad would back her up. I am the middle child of the three sisters. Sadly, my older sister was called home to be with the Lord on 1-22-02, and my younger sister lives in Alabama.
I met my husband, Doyle, in Church and we have been married for 23 years. Oddly enough we married on my grandparents Anniversary without knowing it until we had been married for about 10 years. It was just meant to be.
I enjoy singing in Church and praising the Lord at every opportunity, I feel that it is important to encourage everyone I meet by giving them a kind word or even just a smile to brighten their day. I try to promote the verse "Serve the Lord with gladness" at every turn of the road.
