God of Wonder
I will cause wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and pillars of smoke.
Joel 2:30
My God is an awesome wonder
His Spirit's like a flame in my soul
Purify me this day and clean the stains all away
As you burn in my heart like a coal
Lift me up to the peak of your mountain
So like an eagle I can strike with your caw
Instilling fear in the heart of dark forces
This battles won by the blood, I'm set free from the law
Lord of heaven and all your creation
Test all my motives as you search through my heart
Change the impurity of sin into salvation
So that my soul and your strength will never part
Blessed are your feet for they're righteous
And where they fall will become hollowed ground
Their path is a light unto your nation
And those who follow are never lost only found
When I pass from this world into heaven
The only sadness I can imagine there will be
Is that I'll miss feeling hungry for your presence
Never again seeking the face that I'll see
