"A Week With My Father," an alternative reality television, will help bring hope and healing to families by finding an absent father and introducing him to his adult son. The show will inform the viewing audience of the extent of the problem and help them understand the personal hardships (in some cases) both fathers and sons have endured as a result of being separated from one another. The initial pilot features, Giacomo Know, who came up with this concept. Giacomo, a 39 year old African-American man, had not seen his father in 33 years. By featuring himself and his father reuniting on camera Giacomo hopes other young men will have the courage to follow in his footsteps and reunite with their dads.
