The video tells the story of how Arius, a church leader in Egypt, tested the waters of orthodoxy (the traditional teaching) and started a controversy so widespread that it caused the convening of an all-church council at Nicea in 325 A.D. The video was created by John Newton for a course on the Trinity at Dallas Seminary.
