Hebruz is a Canadian Christian soul-rock rock band focused on connecting the world with God through authentic, meaningful, and creative music. They released their debut album, Chronicles, on LMG in 2014. The group, which consists of Jaime Lue (vocals), Johann Lue (guitar), Andre Thomas (Bass), and Kedric Nobles (drummer), officially formed in 2013, but has collaborated together in various ways for years. The foundation was laid with the Lue brothers who grew up in an enriched musical environment. They were very much influenced by their father, Pastor Vincent Lue, who used to play in a reggae band in the late 70’s until focusing on using his own gifts for the service of Kingdom. Taking on his passion for music, they learned how to play various instruments, and crafted skills in songwriting and music production. Thomas, met the Lue brothers 20 years ago at the Perth Ave SDA church (Toronto, ON). Coming from a musical background as well, the three quickly formed a lasting relationship and began to collaborate on various projects. Tacoma drummer, Nobles, entered the picture when the eldest Lue, Jaime, moved to Washington State several years ago. The two met while performing at a local church concert, and began performing together thereafter. During this time, the idea for Chronicles was birthed.
