God, Sex, and Prayer: Don't Be So Heavenly-minded that You're No Earthly Good, Part 3 (TPMD Bus 2 - #523)

TODAY'S POEM: "How Precious We Are" (Author Unknown)

VERSE: 1 Corinthians 7:10-16 (Commentary from Matthew Henry's Commentary)

QUOTE: "If we would pray aright, the first thing we should do is to see to it that we really get an audience with God, that we really get into His very presence. Before a word of petition is offered, we should have the definite consciousness that we are talking to God, and should believe that He is listening and is going to grant the thing that we ask of Him." --R.A. Torrey

TOPIC: God, Sex, and Prayer: Don't Be So Heavenly-minded that You're No Earthly Good

Over the past 2 broadcasts, we have been discussing the topic of God, sex, and prayer. I am convinced that many Christian men and women have destroyed their marriages because they do not know how to live a balanced Christian life. Some Christian women, and even some men, believe it or not, who are testosterone challenged, destroy their marriages because they have this ridiculous idea that they cannot have a strong prayer life with God and still enjoy hot sex with their mate. They become more concerned with following their pastor in a prayer and fasting campaign than taking care of business at home. Some of these silly women become more dedicated to their pastor than they are to their husbands, and tragically, because they are not having sex with their husbands at home as they should be, they end up, after they have had their little prayer and fasting session, having sex with the pastor
