How could I deal with my sin in having no power within
I did not know I was lost, until the Spirit came in
He did reveal to me Christ, the only one who could save my life
He left the glory from before, as my sins He could not ignore
the Second Person He came down, the only one of Three
in the holy Trinity, that could have died for me
the Second Person He came down, He stood for me and was tried
He gave His life for my sins, He's risen and glorified
the mystery of godliness of how God was manifested in flesh
it was He who knew no sin, yet was found in our likeness
my words can never explain of why He raised me from the dead
I will be praising for all time, the Second Person of the Godhead
the Second Person He came down, the only one of Three
in the holy Trinity, that could have died for me
the Second Person He came down, He stood for me and was tried
He gave His life for my sins, He's risen and glorified
the Second Person He came down, He had to take on flesh
yet He did so with no sin, to become one of us
the Second Person He came down, clothed in His Deity
yet He was both Lord and man, a part of the Trinity as Christ is God
