The Hawaiian Fisherman

The Hawaiian Fisherman is a story about a man who has his priorities in order. This fictional character represents a person who knows how to balance work and family. He chose a profession which he loves and is very efficient with his work. He takes pride in what he does, but he limits the time spent fishing. The rest of his time he dedicates to his family.

There is nothing wrong with enterprise. But the antagonist, business man in this story tempts the fisherman to spend all of his time at work, only to ultimately achieve what he already has.

Material things do not matter in comparison to the greater things like family and friends. Your family needs you more than they need things. Your family is a worthwhile investment, yielding immeasurable returns. Make sure your life is in balance, if not take a couple of minutes to watch the Hawaiian Fisherman.
