Appalachian Transformation
The people of Rattle Snake Ridge in McCreary County, Kentucky have seen decades of struggle since the coal mines shut down in the 1970's. Because of the lack of work and a depressed economy, the region has seen an increase in poverty, crime and drug abuse. But God has not given up on this community and has called people from near and far to take part in a transformation of the Appalachian mountains.
