Sometimes I catch myself thinking about what I get to break my fast on, grape juice and then stewed tomatoes, but it is too early for that. I need to still take it one day at a time.Today 1 Corinthians 7:5 caught my attention for some reason. "Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self control."I am so thankful that I have a wife who loves God so much that would allow me to go on a 40 water only fast and deny her of the roles I normally play around the house. Ladies think about that, having your husband gone for 40 days in a row. Maybe you shouldn't think about that because it sounds kind of good. Well my wife is fasting her husband and she told me that other day that she ran into someone at Costco and told them she missed chocolate but she missed her husband more.Proverbs says "he who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord.
