My husband is SGT Ron Brown and we have 3 beautiful children. Ron deployed to Afghanistan with the 37th Engineer Battalion out of Fort Bragg, NC. They were deployed for 12 months in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. This was our first deployment since he reeinlisted after an 8 year break in service. We are so proud of him, as well as all the other men and women who serve and protect our country. This is a video that Ron made while he was overseas and sent to the kids and me before he returned home in March 2007. So many events are missed by each person throughout a year; birthdays, Christmas, valentine's day, the first day of school, our 10th anniversary, etc. I hope you all enjoy, and remember to say a prayer for our troops and their families who sacrifice so much for the freedom of our country!
