It's amazing how little we know about Mrs. Noah. We don't even know her first name, yet her husband's name is mentioned many times in the Old Testament account of his family and the flood.



Have you thought about this? The world was corrupt, very sinful, and Mrs. Noah lived in that world and attempted to raise 3 sons. The entire family was righteous and was the only ones saved when the flood came.



She was a woman who had the courage to stand by her husband. Imagine the ridicule they both of the received at the hands of a corrupt generation. Imagine the pressure put on their sons to join in with the other children of their age to follow the crowd. After the flood there was her husband's alcohol problem.



Here we have a classic example of many in the world who have a profound influence on our world yet never receive much, if any publicity or notoriety. The parents influence on their children's lives will have an effect for generations to come.
