They had a pinata for the children, and I took some quick times of the event.
The sisters made an incredible lunch of different Mexican dishes.
It was really a fun day.
"Pinata"
In the Mexican Catholic celebration of Christmas, the pinata is traditionally shaped like a seven-pointed star which represents the devil
and the seven deadly sins, while the contents are the goods or blessings he is withholding. Striking the devil with faith, symbolized by being
blindfolded, releases the blessings.
"Pope John Paul II commended the Virgin of Guadalupe to us as the The star of the New Evangelization."

Today's Devotional
A Prayer to Humbly Serve This Maundy Thursday - Your Daily Prayer - March 28
Would you let Jesus wash your feet? Isn't it hard to imagine lifting our dirty toes to the King of Kings? None of us are worthy of his care and attention; yet in Christ's perfect love, he gives us nothing less. Does your human heart struggle like mine to serve others humbly as Jesus did?
