In everyday life we often see both male and female manipulators. They attempt to achieve their goals through other people if their goal is achieved and viewed as good they quickly take credit. If on the other hand the achieved goal is perceived as negative they keep quiet and avoid blame. They let the blame fall upon others thus protecting their low self-esteem at the cost of damaging others.



Jezebel was the worst kind of manipulator. She was so focused on her goals that she lost sight of opportunities to repent. Jezebel was so focused that she would even murder or attempt to murder anyone who stood in her way. God proved that He was willing to support Elijah by performing a miracle and demonstrated His willingness to help those who follow Him but Jezebel's hatred for Elijah is all consuming. I'm sure you have heard the saying, "Win at any cost." Sometimes the cost of winning is your soul.
