Take a Look - Week 5 - Part 1 - How Do I Become a Christian?
This is the first part of the fifth and final talk in the evangelical series following our "Open Sunday" in January 2009. The series was intended to give visitors (particularly non-Christian visitors) the chance to get to know us, and to understand some of the things we believe.
In this talk, Mark spoke about how a person becomes a Christian.
In this first part of the talk, he used an illustration to explain some of the fundamental principles that it is important to understand about becoming a Christian: that salvation is a gift; that God allowing us to choose to follow Him does not mean He lacks generosity; that we don't have to (and can't) make any kind of payment or contribution towards our salvation; and that God, as the giver, gets to say who does and does not get offered that gift (and under what circumstances or conditions).

A Prayer to Help You Comfort Others - Your Daily Prayer - April 25
Have you ever wondered if there is any purpose in your suffering? We certainly don’t go looking for suffering—it comes to us because life is a journey through difficulties and triumphs. Sufferings are a reminder of what Jesus Christ went through and it is a way for us to encourage others.
