I have the pleasure (How pleasant it is) to visit every month the soup kitchen in Rozino. The road going there is beautiful, no matter what time of the year it is. The church in this small mountain village is always open and full of children. You can't even imagine that former Muslims are now happy to play in church, recite verses from the Bible and sing songs about the love of Jesus¦ When they are sad or sick, they pray, and even if it sounds strange the Lord answers their prayers! Winter is almost over, but now it's the hardest time for the families fed in the soup kitchen. All their income, gained last summer from picking herbs and fruits in the forest, is spentâ�¦ and the first "forest harvest" for this year is still far¦too far away. The snow and the cold weather haven't gone yet. The biting cold is insidiously entering their houses and the hunger is getting more and more unbearable. Praise God for the soup kitchen in church! It's warm there and the bean soup is incredibly tasty, when you eat it with friends. What is more if you eat your bowl of soup first, then you will get one more!
After the meal comes the most interesting part of the day praising the Lord with songs. He is the One Who loves them, takes care of them and heals them! "Love is the greatest...¦ the highest...¦ the widest...¦ the deepest...¦ The love of Jesus!"
The love of Jesus is reaching these children thanks to the donations and care of people living at thousands kilometers from here. Your support makes their lives easier during the winter.
