My husband and I are touring the nation with a new book titled, A Way Out. It is a true story about overcoming the effects of childhood abuse and how adults can restore their self-image.<br /><br />

Abandonment, physical, @%ual and verbal abuse is a self-image killer and a dream destroyer, but there is a way out. Some of the ongoing effects of early childhood abuse that perpetuates itself into adulthood will often come in the form of anxiety, fear of others, alcoholism, drug addiction, promiscuity, sleeplessness etc. <br /><br />

As a professional speaker, I am using the book to teach adults why the abuse began in their lives and how they can restore their self-image. If we can teach the adults we will save the future of our children. The book has been endorsed by Oklahoma Governor, Brad Henry as well as Oklahoma University President, David Boren and others.<br />
